Getting The Most Out of Your Digital Signage

In this ever-changing world of technology, it is easy to get burnt-out with advancements, updates, and compounding trends. In fact, traditional static signage is becoming more and more obsolete with the constant craving of new information.
Even though your information may not change often, your audiences look to your visual messaging for guidance and engagement. To optimize your current or new digital signage systems, here are a few things you’ll want to keep in mind:
1. It’s More than a SlideShow – Although your information is important, it may not need to take up the entire screen. Each individual slide should be present on your screen for at least ten seconds, but your audience wants to see more, especially if it is likely they’ll view the same informational slide more than once in a single timeframe. 2. Choose Your Images Carefully – Most organizations using digital signage do not have dedicated graphic designers to create content. That doesn’t mean that you can’t have great quality graphics! If using internet images (with the appropriate usage rights, of course), make sure the size is as close to 1920×1080 pixels (for landscape image) or higher as possible. This helps to increase the quality of the image and decreases pixelation for your content.
