This Year's Orange Bowl Teams Have More In Common Than You Think...

The 2022 Orange Bowl featuring Clemson University and the University of Tennessee share more than a color palette. Both schools are innovative organizations that feature Hypersign+ digital signage in their communication infrastructure.

The southeast is entering bowl season and Hypersign.com is most excited about this year’s Orange Bowl. The Orange Bowl’s name is doubly apt in 2022 as both participating teams are sporting their own unique shades of orange. The Clemson Tigers and Tennessee Volunteers, both nationally ranked teams and universities, also share more than a color palette: they share a campus-wide digital innovation strategy that involves Hypersign.com’s digital signage platform.

Clemson University, one of the top schools in the United States for academics, athletics, and research, inspires students, faculty and visitors every day with a unique campus infrastructure that incorporates technology as both functional and aesthetic fixtures. While working with Hypersign.com for over six years, Clemson University has implemented interactive navigational kiosks, video walls, digital menu boards, and an in impressive 209’ LED sheer on the exterior of the Watt Innovation Center. The Clemson University Athletics department also engaged Hypersign.com as the “Digital Signage Provider of the Clemson Tigers”.

The University of Tennessee system, a statewide network of nationally-ranked campuses and research institutions, is connecting its campuses through strategic digital communication platforms, including Hypersign.com’s way-finding signage with customized mobile directions using Bluetooth beacons and the Waystation application, several video walls and department-specific marketing signs throughout their campuses. Recognizing the potential that a cloud-based communication platform software would have on interconnected marketing and informational campaigns, the University of Tennessee implemented a framework for campuses to utilize the Hypersign+ digital signage platform in their unique communication plans. While still expanding, the University of Tennessee system adopted Hypersign+ digital signage for its Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Memphis campuses, as well as the UT Space Institute.

Whether you’re cheering for Clemson or Tennessee, it is easy to see that both schools are pioneers in not only athletics, but technological innovations that inspire students and staff to get the most from their experiences on campus.

Go Vols, go Tigers, and go Hypersign!
